People Director Asda
David is an HR Professional who has spent his entire career in the HR sphere. A Fellow of the CIPD, David commenced his career in the Coal Industry. David has been a part of the Team which turned Asda from ailing 4th rank Food Retailer - to the leading player it is today as part of the Wal*Mart family. He has been part of the People Team which has been making Asda a great place to work since 1994, and has been People Director since July 2000.
Mike Mister
Global Director of Executive Development Ernst & Young Global
Mike’s key responsibility is to facilitate the development of the partners in the member firms of Ernst & Young around the world. This is a mix of consulting work with practices, actual face to face contact with partners, and the development of programmes, systems; processes and knowledge sharing. Prior to his current appointment, Mike held a number of roles in the UK Firm including Regional HR Director and National Head of Management Development. He has worked extensively in many locations around the world and is currently involved in many of EY’s international management development initiatives.
Sarah Jones
Group Head Leadership Development Standard Chartered Bank
Sarah joined Standard Chartered Bank having run a successful Organisation Development Business for 17 years. She is a psychologist by background, starting her working life in the IT industry where there had been significant investment in the use of psychometric instruments and coaching. Standard Chartered Bank operates a well sponsored, well embedded Leadership Development Model that is seen by the business as adding huge value. Sarah runs a team of Leadership Facilitators based in London and Singapore who coach the most senior leaders in the bank around the model.
Paul Jones
Group Director of Human Resources Her Majesty's Treasury
Prior to joining HM Treasury Paul was Director of Human Resources at the Office of Government Commerce, which is responsible for improving value for money and the delivery of major capital projects. He previously worked in Board level roles in the National Health Service in both the acute and mental health sectors. His early career was in Local Government including the Greater London Council and the London Borough of Islington, British Aerospace and Consulting. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds a Masters degree in International Human Resources Management.
